The TEAC X-1000R is a highly regarded reel-to-reel tape deck known for its smooth transport, excellent audio performance, and iconic build quality. This unit is in great overall condition, showing that it has been well cared for over the years. It was previously repaired and refurbished, and cosmetically it remains in fantastic shape.

After many years, the internal lubrication on these decks can benefit from being cleaned and re-lubricated, which is common for vintage machines of this era. Even so, this X-1000R presents extremely well and has the look of a deck that was never abused.
